Dear Leslie,

I wish there were words to tell you how beautiful life really is, how safe you always are, and of the love that constantly bathes you.

How powerful you are, how much you can have, and of the glories that await.

Of the perfection, the magic, and the infinite possibilities.

But you actually threatened me with bodily harm if I were to ever let you peek at where you were headed before you arrived.

You gangsta',
The Universe

p.s. You always did love surprises, Leslie, and, wow, are you going to love what's coming....

Early this year the fantastic Nina told us that the Universe had been delivering notes to her inbox and I instantly thought "me, too!" - I have been getting them five days a week ever since and then today. Well, today the message made me actually cry and I thought how selfish it would be of me not to share it with you.

Because, you know, the Universe is talkin' to you, too...

a glass half full #001.

This is the inaugural post of a new project I have been thinking about for some time called 'a glass half full'. Fairly self-explanatory but here are the short and sweet details: a little pick-me-up, you-can-flip-it, positive tip (with accompanying photo) whenever the mood strikes...

Can't sleep? Bundle up, go outside and watch that beautiful sun rise up to say "good morning!" to you.
