But instead I went to Arcata and Trinidad and Eureka, California to celebrate my admirable friend Mary's graduation from Humboldt State (HOORAY GIRL!!!) and took photos.
And felt a million miles away.

I lived in arcata, and attended HSU for a semester. couldn't deal with living behind the "Redwood Curtain". but man it is gorgeous up there!
